Just give her your earrings…….

When blessed by Maa

Today (20/12/2025) I had one of  the best and happiest experiences of my life. I was asked to give the earrings that I was wearing, to the person who sat across the table. She has been a client for a while now, a student of mine and today got us closer. Let’s call her Betty.

So, Betty, a beautiful and old soul, has been in touch with me for 9 months now. This means I got to see her progress from – “What do I do Soumya, I feel stuck? I am not getting anywhere near my goal”- TO- “I am feeling sorted and today I am happy”. So here is the turn of events that took place in her life. (I am trying to jot it down in chronological order as much as possible).

April’2025, she had her first session with me with her questions on life. Maa Durga’s Saptashati was suggested to her. With her taking it up with zeal and faith, she texted me 20ish days later that she felt drawn towards Maa Lalita Sahasranaam. And my guides said “Of course do it. That was the next step blessed on you by Maa herself.” At this point, I want to mention that this is one of the fastest progresses that I have seen in 4 years for anyone. A month later, she had another session, in which it was revealed that she had to do Sadhana on Tantra App. She started!

Not to mention, her experiences with Tantra Sadhana app started the next day itself. She asked for proofs and she was bestowed. Ah! Such blessings! When I see someone progressing, my heart fills with immense joy. But this isn’t my story. So, to continue, she kept on doing the sadhana while facing several issues. I have to say, it wasn’t easy for her to keep going, but she continued with a little bit of gaps and hurdles. A note to make here is under such circumstances, many people drop sadhana, but she held on to it. It wasn’t always pretty for her.

She kept me informed about the events that turned up in her life during this whole time. Within 15 days, she got pulled towards Sri Badrika Ashram (my Guru’s abode). I knew this was no ordinary alliance and it was no co-incidence that she was sent to me for a reading. Things really opened up when she went to the ashram, did a sadhana and came back. Post this whatever she told me about her life, was very much similar to how my life had turned out after I had filled Swamiji’s initiation form.

That was the moment I knew that she was accepted by Swamiji. She faced exactly the same emotional upheaval that I had gone through after filling my form and by that similarity I guessed that whenever she fills the form, He will accept her. However, I was asked to not share this information with her yet. And so, I kept mum about it. These things are so sacred that the divine decides when is the right time for disclosure and how to do it.  (Also, she anyways couldn’t have filled the form because by the time she came for her first reading with me, Swami ji had retracted the initiation form, temporarily). A few days later, she texted me – “Soumya, maine man me unko apna Guru maan liya hai.” (I have already positioned him as my Guru in my heart). I thought to myself, she was one of us now.

But what transpired next blew my mind. After a few months of doing tantra sadhana and saying the above, she excitedly shared a dream with me. Of course, she saw Swamiji in that dream and whatever happened in that dream was a confirmation of her acceptance in to the extraordinary lineage. A great power like Swamiji is not bound by any physical world processes and this story is an example of that.

So, today, why is it important to write about it? Because today is the day it got official. Today we met for a cup of coffee. And while talking about various other things, my guides whispered in my ear- tell her she can put “Om” after her name/surname and she is allowed to put the tilak of the lineage(one red dot between the eyebrows and one white dot on the upper forehead). I jumped out of excitement, my heart racing I gave her the news. She couldn’t help smiling. She was so happy to get this news. And next my guides said, give her your earrings (that I was wearing). I was like am I hearing it correct? (Just a little background, my love for earrings runs deep and every piece I pick is close to my heart). To the above question, they said – “Yes, you are hearing it correct. Give it to her, she likes them. Give it as a welcome gift, welcoming her to the clan. She is family now.” Phew! This was my first ever experience of doing something like this. I had read in Sadhvi Vrinda ji’s book that when she was initiated in to sannyasa, she was gifted a pair of earrings by Matarani. It felt the same to me, except Betty wasn’t being initiated into sannyasa, but was initiated in the lineage by our Guru.

A gush of emotions ran through my veins. I felt so honoured to not just have witnessed this, but also to become a part of this. All my Guru’s grace.

I couldn’t have missed sharing this with you all. Yes, you all out there! Who are waiting to be initiated by Him or are already accepted in the lineage. That’s why here I am, writing it at midnight. Started it on 20^th December (11:50 pm) and finished on 21^st December. Worth it! 😊
